I'm new to Kickstarter. How does this work?

When you back our project, the first step is to choose a reward level. This is the main item you want to acquire. Please note: You can only choose one reward level (the item) for your pledge. If you’re interested in multiple items, don’t worry—you’ll be able to add more items during the next step (in the Add-On Menu).

What is the Add-On Menu? The Add-On Menu is where you can add extra items to your pledge. If you’d like to customize your order with additional items, simply check out the Add-On Menu after selecting your main reward level. If we hit our funding goals, we’ll unlock even more add-ons for you to choose from. Just increase your pledge by the amount listed next to each item in the Add-On Menu. Note: You can’t add items directly to your reward level, but you can add extras through the Add-On Menu.

That’s it! The process is simple once you’re familiar with the terms. After the campaign ends, we’ll send out a survey to collect shipping details and finalize any add-ons you’ve selected.

How do I add extra items to my reward (purchase)?

If you’ve already pledged an amount for a reward, click the “Manage My Pledge” button at the top of the campaign page. If you haven’t pledged yet, click the “Back this project” button and choose your reward (item). Remember, each backer can select one reward level only.

Find the extra items in the Add-On Menu. After selecting your main reward, you’ll see additional items available in the Add-On Menu. Browse through the options and select the items you’d like to add. To add them to your pledge, simply increase your pledge amount by the dollar value shown next to each item in the Add-On Menu. Note: You don’t need to pay extra for shipping—your reward’s shipping cost covers everything, including add-ons.

That’s it! You’re all set. Once you’ve made your selections and increased your pledge amount, you’re good to go. We’ll collect the final details (like shipping and add-ons) through a survey (questionnaire) after the campaign ends.

Why can’t I buy multiple rewards?
Kickstarter has a rule that allows backers to choose only one reward (item) per project. However, there’s an easy workaround to get multiple items or more quantities of the same reward:
- Already pledged? If you’ve already backed the project, just click the “Manage My Pledge” button at the top of the page. If you haven’t pledged yet, click “Back this project” and choose your reward to get started.
2.Add additional items If you want more than one reward or additional items, simply add the cost of those items to your pledge amount through the Add-On Menu. You’ll be able to choose and add extras after selecting your main reward.
3.That’s it! You’re all set. Once you’ve added everything to your pledge, you’re done! We’ll finalize everything, including shipping details, through a survey once the campaign ends.

Your card will not be charged until the project has come to an end on January 6, 2025

Can I pay without a credit card?
Unfortunately, Kickstarter only accepts payments through credit cards during the campaign. This is a requirement of the platform, so we’re unable to offer alternative payment methods directly.
However, the good news is that payment apps like PayPal and Venmo can be used as credit cards in some cases. This means you should still be able to back the project using one of these services, as long as you link them to a credit or debit card.

What is your refund policy?
Because Kickstarter is a crowdfunding platform, we are unable to offer refunds once the campaign ends, except in the unlikely event that a defective item is shipped.
We’re committed to delivering your reward as quickly and smoothly as possible after the campaign ends. Once the campaign is complete, we’ll be working hard to get your item to you as soon as we can!

Will you be adding more items during the campaign?
Yes! If we surpass our funding goals - and a certain amount of Stretch Goals - we’ll be adding at least one limited-edition Milo figure variant colorways that will be exclusive to Kickstarter. This special editions will only be available during this campaign and for a limited time of 30 days.

Can I change, update, or add to my address/order?
Yes, you can! Your address is linked to your Kickstarter account, but don’t worry if you move or forget to update it. When your items are ready to ship, we’ll send out a survey asking for your final mailing address and a detailed confirmation of what you ordered. This ensures we send you exactly what you’ve pledged for before we ship your Milo.

When do I provide my shipping details?
Kickstarter doesn’t collect shipping details when you back (support) the project, because some backers (people) may have different addresses by the time we’re ready to ship. We’ll ask for your shipping details in late June or early July via a survey/questionnaire to ensure we have the most up-to-date information before sending your reward.

If I live outside the US, will I have to pay duties/VAT to receive my reward?
Whether or not you’ll be charged duties or VAT depends on your local tax laws. Unfortunately, Kickstarter doesn’t allow us to collect these fees at the time of your pledge, so any applicable duties or VAT may be charged when your reward is delivered.
Any duties/VAT are the responsibility of the backer. If you’re unsure whether you’ll be charged, we recommend checking with your local post office for more information.

What shipping method will you use to send my reward?
For domestic orders, we will use FedEx. For international orders, we will most likely use DHL.

Why are you launching on Kickstarter?
Kickstarter allows us to produce exactly the number of items people want, helping us avoid overordering and reducing waste. Additionally, David and Frankie have been huge fans of Kickstarter for years, and it’s a fantastic way for them to connect with fans and create a more exciting, interactive experience for everyone involved. Plus, the flexibility of the Kickstarter platform—like Stretch Goals and Add-Ons—makes it more dynamic than a traditional e-commerce site.

Is Milo a soft vinyl figure or a regular vinyl figure?
We apologize for any confusion. Milo (the figure) is a high-quality vinyl collectible with some weight and heft to it—not a soft or squishy vinyl. While researching our favorite vinyl figures, we recently realized that some manufacturers have used the term “soft vinyl” loosely, often referring to traditional vinyl that may feel soft to the touch, but isn’t actually soft or squishy. Unfortunately, we mistakenly described Milo as “soft vinyl” when it is, in fact, a standard vinyl collectible. We’re in the process of updating this description where possible. Thank you for your understanding, and we appreciate your patience.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.

Thank you for supporting our project! BackerKit is being used to collect surveys, manage reward fulfillment, and offer additional items for purchase. Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully before completing your survey or placing an add-on order.
By submitting your survey or making an add-on purchase through BackerKit, you agree to the following:
1. Purpose of This Page
This BackerKit platform is being used for post-campaign fulfillment. You are not pledging to a crowdfunding campaign. Through this system, you may:
• Confirm your original reward selections.
• Submit and/or update your shipping information.
• Purchase additional items (add-ons), including:
• A vinyl collectible figure.
• A t-shirt.
• A sticker pack.
All add-on purchases are treated as post-campaign pre-orders.
2. Payment Terms
• Payments for any additional items or upgrades will be processed securely through BackerKit.
• Charges may appear under “BackerKit” or the name of our project.
3. Shipping & Delivery
• Shipping costs are calculated based on destination and item weight.
• You are responsible for providing accurate shipping information. We will notify you before addresses are locked; changes after that point may not be possible.
• Shipping is expected to begin around July 25, 2025, but this date is subject to change based on production or logistics issues.
4. Tariffs, VAT, and Import Fees
We do not cover or reimburse VAT, import duties, or customs fees. These charges are the sole responsibility of the purchaser and are determined by your country’s import regulations. We recommend checking with your local customs office for more information prior to completing your order.
5. Damaged or Missing Items
• If your order arrives damaged or with missing items, please contact us within 14 days of delivery.
• Include your order number and photos of the damage so we can work with you on a resolution.
We are not responsible for items lost due to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.
6. Refunds and Cancellations
• Add-on purchases made through BackerKit are eligible for a full refund within 14 days of purchase, provided the item has not shipped.
• After 14 days or once the item has shipped (whichever comes first), all sales are final.
• Cancellations of confirmed orders are not accepted beyond this window.

If you have any questions about your order, shipping, or product details, you can message us through your BackerKit survey.
8. Code of Conduct
We value all of our supporters and aim to foster a respectful community. Abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behavior in communications though BackerKit or online may result in removal from future correspondence.
